Yes: Contacts don't come cheap, especially if they are extended wear. But even with thorough cleaning and sterilization, I don't think it is worth the risk of getting reinfected. I would jettison both your contacts, get a new pair, and discard your contact lens box. You can start wearing the contacts once you no longer have the infection.
