Antibiotics: Antibiotics will not cure an infected tooth, just limit the spread of infection. Tooth probably requires root canal/crown or extraction/implant/crown. Now that you are off the Clindamycin infection will return. Please see your Dentist before you have to repeat the antibiotic cycle again.

Need to treat it: Antibiotics might control your pain or temporarily improve the situation, but they will not cure the problem. The tooth causing you problems needs to be treated either through a root canal, extraction or other means. See a dentist asap to make it happen before the infection comes back after you stopped antibiotics.
