Unpredictable: A few days to a few years. That's the best I can do -- it's famously unpredictable. What I do know is that you dried for your acquaintance. In this world, many people have no one to weep for them. You loved this person. Many people go through much or all of their lives without being loved, often through no fault of their own. See if you can't brighten your friend's last times.
