GI effects: It is not uncommon for certain individuals to experience GI upset or diarrhea with the use of antibiotics. It is best that you discuss your treatment and symptoms with the doctor who prescribed it. He/she would be the best one to discuss how best to handle this issue.

GI changes: Diarrhea is a not uncommon side effect of some antibiotics, which are prescribed to limit the severity and spread of infection. Please discuss your issues with your prescribing Dentist as your symptoms may require a change in the timing of the dental treatment that will be required to sure your infection (pills alone won't do it), or a change in antibiotic.
