I took claritin once and its 10mg for 24hrs it made me stop sneezing but my nose is stuffed up it helped me stop sneezing but didnt help my nose to cl?

Antihistamines: Yes, antihistamines like claritin can help with allergy symptoms like sneezing, itching, watery nose and watery eyes. However, intranasal steroid sprays are better for complaint of nasal congestion. These are now available over the counter (Flonase, Rhinocort, Nasocort, etc). Using them consistently is important. They will not relieve congestion if only used intermittently.
