Progestin only: Daphne is a pill that contains a progestin only, no estrogen. The progestin it contains suppresses the build-up of the inner lining of the uterus that is being shed during the menstrual period. Women on estrogen/progestin combination pills are likely to experience a menstrual period, women on a pill like Daphne may find out that their period after a few cycles stops entirely.

Progesterone Only: Daphne is a progesterone only contraceptive pill with the active ingredient lynestrenol. Progesterone only contraceptive pills do not give you regular periods. Some woman (such as yourself) don't have any periods at all. Thats ok. Enjoy it! It isn't harming you! Best wishes!
