A member asked:

Month of posterior knee pain after initial period of prolonged standing. no osteoarthritis. feels, but doesn't appear, swollen. pain with bending.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bakers cyst: Bakers cysts could follow prolonged standing and could cause pain. A Bakers cyst is fluid accumulating behind the knee. Swelling and tenderness are usually felt behind the knee and could be diagnosed by an ultrasound or MRI of the knee. Plain xrays usually will not show the problem. Good luck
