Get it checked : May be reflux if it occurs more at night however the tonsils need to be examined to exclude an infection here. Please see a doctor and urgently if breathing or swallowing troubles

Sore throat : This could be post Nasal drip which can be due to viral infection or hay fever . Antihistamines can be tried . If not improving then see GP .
