Crohn's: Crohn's disease, a type of inflammatory bowel disease, often causes recurrent abdominal discomfort with disturbance in bowel function. Recurrent fevers, perianal fustulas, abscesses. It usually involves the end of the small intestine but the inflammation can occur anywhere in the gi tract-from the mouth to the anus. A gastroenterologist is best qualified to diagnose and treat Crohn's disease.
