Lots of causes: Seizures can happen for reasons other than epilepsy. See your doc and they will likely send you to a neurologist. They will do an EEG ("brain waves") to determine if your prone to seizure. Isolated single seizures can be caused by fever, illness, certain meds or drugs, amongst other causes. Take care of the cause and you've taken care of the seizures.
