See Dr. Again: Hi StephanieL, Unlikely that you are pregnant. Did you get a pregnancy test after tubes tied prior to the Depo shot? More likely you are experiencing side effect of progesterone in the Depo shot. To calm you nerves pick up preg test at drugstore or get a lab test. The Depo does cause spotting and menstral changes until you get used to it. See your doctor again for reassurance Dr Lori Lange
