Monistat: Vagisil cream is designed to help control itching, but doesn't treat yeast at all. Miconazole (Monistat) is very effective.

Wash is the key: Vagisil wash is a surfactant and water with frangrance. It will not cure infections. It is a reasonable body wash and should be considered as such.
