A 19-year-old female asked:

can implantation bleeding last for five days, is semi-light and has blood clots, or is this my period? as usually my period is quite heavy.

More likely period: It appears to be your period, from your description. Implantation bleeding is usually spotting, not clots. Just to be sure do a pregnancy test in 7-10 days, unless you get a heavier period by then. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex, if you have sex. Get HPV vaccine.

Often: The more "tummy time" your baby gets, the rounder her head will be and the easier it will be for her to learn to roll, sit and crawl. Tummy time - as much as possible!

Ultrasound. : It is unusual for blood clots in the calf to cause severe pain. However, the test is simple. Get an ultrasound to rule this out because you already have a personal history of deep vein thrombosis.

Blood in stools weight loss constipated. Blood on tissue paper. Im 26 freaking out what to do?

More likely minor pb: If constipated, the rocks you pass likely caused a fissure or scratch in the anal passage which leaks bright red blood onto the stool or puddles in the stool ready to pass. Dark red or purplish stool is more likely to represent polyps or other issues higher in the colon.See your doctor & have this assessed.

It is low...: Have your doctor explain the results so you can understand what the plan will be. Most likely it is an anemia due to iron deficiency, but need to rule out genetic reasons like thalassemias. Treatment is via iron supplements or foods rich in iron like green leafy vegetables, meats, beans and iron enriched cereals. Egg yolks are also a good source.
