OTC medication: You may try taking one tablet of Immodium, available over the counter, or 2-3 doses of Peptobismol.. If that does not control the diarrhea, you may wish to see your doctor or go to an emergency room. Make sure you drink enough water, soda, juice to avoid dehydration.
