Hard to say: The history you give is too vague to be specific in an answer. Kids are rarely evaluated for school related difficulties until in or after the fourth grade and most with a processing disorder have no history of a possible brain injury.Testing by a pediatric neuropsychologist may be able to point to a more definite answer.
