Probably unrelated: Presumably your HPV16 infection is genital, perhaps showing up on a pap smear, right? While it is possible your throat is also infected, HPV is not a likely cause of either "cobblestoning" of the throat or the white spot on one of your tonsils. The large majority of HPV infections, including HPV16, are eventually cleared by the immune system. Discuss all this with your doctor & follow her advice.
