Low,far from optimal: The "normal range" of Vit. D is 30-100. Yours is slightly low, but optimal level is 50-80 so aim for that. We get D mostly from the sun but it's impossible to get any D from sun in fall and winter months so everyone gets deficient unless supplementing.
