Inflamed sore gum above left canine and the gum and roof of mouth immediately behind it, can't eat it's so painful. similar to burn but it's not?

Sore gums: The most likely cause is gum disease. But may also be due to trauma, malposed tooth, clenching or grinding, etc. See your Dentist to start the diagnostic process. Referral to a gum specialist, a Periodontist, would be recommended.
