Yes. Avoid Friction: What you describe is a frictional blister. Best way to heal this is to avoid direct friction or rubbing of the area. Protecting the area with a band-Aid or new skin or other protective dressing will allow the site to heal. Avoiding contact over the site will allow it to heal faster. Covering the blister with petroleum jelly (Vaseline) will prevent it from forming a scab which will also help.
