Specializes in Orthodontics

First: your overbite was caused by your heredity, not by sucking your thumb. As to treatment, a consultation with a board certified Orthodontist will tell you what to do and how much it will cost.

Thumb sucking: Parafunctional habits, continued beyond age 4, can cause both alignment and skeletal malformations, especially if there is an underlying genetic malrelationship. Sorry, no quick fix, salve, pill, gadget or gizmo, snake oil, or homeopathic. See a fully qualified specialist Orthodontist for initial exam (usually free) to determine the extent of your problem, treatment options, and fee options.

No easy fix : But I doubt it was due to thumb sucking. That's unproven at best, folk superstition most probably, and cruel regardless. Get braces
