UTI questions: I would. Sometimes cultures take time to grow - and then identify the organism. At your age - a colony count greater than 100,000 should be treated. So - I would take the prescribed antibiotics and then request a repeat culture at least 4 days after you finish antibiotics to make sure you are cleared.
