A member asked:

What harm/risk is there, if any, in receiving a delayed rhogam injection @ about 34 weeks?

Maybe some confusion: At the birth of your baby, there may be some remaining low levels of Rhogam in your blood which may create some confusion regarding the remote possibility that you might have become sensitized to the Rh factor. The "harm/risk" to you or to your baby are otherwise insignificant. The benefits of Rhogam even if the injection was "delayed" are considered to outweigh any potential risk.
