A member asked:

Had surgery for testicular torsion before, got sudden pain in testical again whilst at work, i don't want another op shall i go to e.r?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Or see the urologist: If a guy has no other reason for symptoms, and he has sudden or severe pain in the scrotum (the sack that contains the testicles), with swelling of the scrotum, abdominal pain, nausea, or a testicle that hangs higher than normal or at an unusual angle... he could have testicular torsion and needs to get to the emergency room now. If symptoms are quite mild, a primary doctor may examine him first.
