Need to be seen: Black stool (color of that of tar) might indicate upper gut bleeding (though it happens if you are having Iron supplement). This, combined with acid reflux might indicate an ulcer or some stomach problem that needs to be checked out

YOU MUST: get this checked out..."hands on" exam required....BLACK feces could be due to upper GI BLEEDING! Hope this is helpful.....don't wait Dr Z
