Cannot tell w/o test: Did you get scared? Did it happen resting? Your subjective complaint, may be an important one. Potentially, you have an irregular heart beat & what you're experiencing is Ashman phenomenon. Or it could be 1 of other causes. If the symptom's persistent & intrusive, you'll want to see a Cardiologist about getting a Holter monitor (24-hr EKG recording) for diagnosis. TTYD about it or HealthTap Prime.
