Depends: Did he find evidence of laryngeal irritation at vocal cord? If yes, LPR is a good possibility. By the way cortisone injection is not usually indicated for your conditions. As for which of the 2 is causing your problem., it is hard to tell without knowing more details. If you have indeed responded to these two medications, the withdrawal of one or the other will help to establish the cause.
