50% understood: A general rule is 2yo/50%; 3yo75%; 4 yo95% of oral output understood by a stranger.Kids learn words by mimicing the sounds they hear, not thinking thu some word they visualize in their head like you do automaticly. If the say it poorly at first, they have to relearn the proper sounds before ther do it clearly.Some will relearn this naturally, some need therapy.Discuss ur concerns at a dr visit.
