Associated condition: FGN itself might not be painful but associated conditions could be painful. For example, renal failure can lead to uremia, which can occur in renal failure is associated with muscle cramps and abdominal pain. Renal osteodystrophy occurs in renal disease and can lead to brittle bone fractures that are painful. FGN is associated with malignancy and Crohn's disease that can be very painful.
