A member asked:

I was put on flagyl for a bacterial vaginal infection for 7 days, twice a day, can i still try to conceive with the infection and the anitbiotic?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Vaginitis: Flagyl is used to treat certain vaginal infections, and should not interfere with attempts to become pregnant. Make sure your partner sees his healthcare provider, since certain infections treated by Flagyl are sexually acquired, and will reoccur if both partners are not treated simultaneously.
