I've got a hard bump on the side of my finger that i suddenly felt when writing. do you know what this could mean?

Benign: Hi SMatthews, Sorry to hear that you have been worried. Based on your description, it sound like it is nothing to worry about. If it is a pressure point where you normally grip the pencil or pen, it is probably just a callus. Rest on that area or loosening your grip on the pencil will help it disappear. It will likely be there for at least a few weeks, even with rest. Hope this helps.
