High Hb: What did the rest of your blood work show? A slightly high Hemoglobin can be due to many things and can be normal. Send us full CBC to be sure it is normal.

High hgb: May be dehydration , repeat in 1-2 weeks when hydrated w/ 2 glasses of water 1 hour before the test( if still high may need further evaluation ) .Also could be high if at high altitude > 5,000 ft , or smoke , take medications to increase red cell amount or have heart or lung failure. f/u on urine mycoplasma could cause sire throat and urine issues f/u/ w/ doc
