As with any food the amount has to be controlled regardless of the food type . Cheese is a food that has a lot of nutritional value and should not be eliminated from your diet when trying to lose weight. Also the type of cheese is very important because some are high in calories ie. American, munster and Colby. Others ie. mozzarella, feta and cottage cheese are lower in calories
