Burnout: Burnout has 3 main symptoms: exhaustion; depersonalization, and the sense that your efforts are ineffective. Here, depersonalization means that your attitude has become impersonal or unfeeling towards the people you are meant to serve. One feels as if in survival mode, and can feel angry when anybody asks for help -- because it requires more energy than you have.
