Cervicitis: The known infectious causes of mucopurulent cervicitits (MPC) are gonorrhea and chlamydia, and sometimes herpes, trichomonas, and perhaps bacterial vaginosis. You should have been tested for all these (well, maybe not herpes if no external genital sores etc). HPV might mimic MPC. However, even some cases without these causes may still be infectious, of unknown cause. Discuss with your doctor.
