Moisture,odor: There could be an anal fissure or low grade inflammation of the rectum(proctitis) causing the moisture and odor. Lack of pain or blood is a good sign. Try warm soaks, pat dry and apply anusol. Wear white not too tight panties. Keep bowel movements soft by taking a stool softener like colace daily. If symptoms persist consult a proctologist or colorectal surgeon for evaluation and treatment.
