Unlikely, but be ale: Renitidine is an antacid, it is considered quite safe for the short term use(year or less). Yet many people with acid reflux requires it for much longer which is also safe. yet there there has been recent concern of some long term kidney toxicity and bone changes. So use it as needed but take some short breaks in between. Also get a blood check for CBC and Kidney functions once yearly.
