A member asked:

What are the differing function of the liver and kidneys?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Too many to list: Liver makes most of the blood proteins, cholesterol, and bile. Kidneys remove waste products from blood. Both organs also affect many other metabolic functions, such as vitamin d, red cell production, glucose and electrolyte control etc.
