A member asked:

Can you use retin a (tretinoin) or refissa if you have mild rosacea?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe.: Retin-a is not officially indicated for rosacea, but some of my patients have reported that it's helpful in mild cases. Know that it will probably make things worse before it makes things better -- if in fact it does make things better. If it doesn't, let a dermatologist do a proper evaluation and prescribe an appropriate treatment regimen.
