Laceration: If the laceration stopped bleeding and there is no evidence of pus or spreading redness, a visit to a physician appears unnecessary. If you have received a tetanus booster within 10 years you won't need another for this injury if the can appeared clean. If you can't be sure whether this was a clean can or not, get a tetanus booster if your last booster was over 5 years ago.
