Chronic urticaria and hypothyroidism - not sure if they related. xyzal use to work really well for the hives but has stopped working. suggestions?

Possibly: About 30-40% of CU are presumed to be from an autoimmune cause and having thyroid disease is one of the markers for autoimmune disorder, thus the answer is a likely yes. Have you tried increasing the dose of xyzal to 4 x daily? If even that has not helped, consult an allergist for more effective treatment.
