Risky maneuver: There is a general consensus that Chiropractors should never manipulate a neck. They offer a deep, thrusting manipulation that the chest and lumbar vertebrae are strong enough to withstand. The neck cannot safely be manipulated in this way. If the neck was "popped" there might be some damage and your family doctor or an orthopod should be consulted.
