Shingles: Shingles can happen even at early ages. You likely do not have cancer, but we or your PCP should check your blood counts and discuss any low immune risk issues (do you have diabetes or a history of diabetes or cancer in the family). Sometimes excess stress, poor diet, poor sleep patterns alone can cause shingles but consult with us to determine if this is a sign of something more serious.

Not necessarily: Shingles is mostly a disease of older people(past 50 years) but it can rarely occur in under 50 year olds. In majority of Shingles affected people there is no cancer problem. So do not worry about getting/developi Cancer, yet have annual check ups to make sure that you are remaining healthy. Eat healthy(good serving of fruits and vegetables). This may augment your immune system and keep you healt
