My ultrasound for the neck says my thyroid gland is of normal size but i have mild, diffuse non-specific parenchymal disease. what does that mean?

Thyroid ultrasound: It means you have something going on in the thyroid gland tissue(parenchyma). So discuss with the Drs who ordered it. At your age first guess would be hyperactive thyroid.
