A member asked:

I had a period february 4 (lasted 7 days) and 10 days later i had another period (also lasted 7 days). which one should i go by, mainly for charting?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Frequent or: infrequent periods, are usually related to hormone issues, or medications such as oral contraceptive pills. If this keeps happening, testing of your hormones or adjustment of medication may be needed. Can be related to insulin resistance/polycystic ovarian syndrome as well.
