Awhile ago i had torn my acl but i never got it properly fixed or rehabilitated and just recently i have hurt it again. are there any recommendations?

Yes. You need to get: proper treatment and rehabilitation. Not all ACL tears are complete tears or separation and not all ACL tears require surgery. However, most ACL tears do need proper treatment and rehab. Best wishes. Dr. Anne
