Head & Neck Surgeon : You have a goiter that is pressing on your pharynx and even compressing your trachea (your airway). You need to have it removed surgically ASAP! Go see MD (not a nurse practitioner) and don't let them dilly dally around. Get an Ultrasound or a CAT scan of your neck done to verify the source of the mass, and get a referral to a Head and Neck Surgeon ASAP!!!
