A member asked:

Hi, i'm 36 and i have a 3cmx2cm bony lump on my forehead, i am worried it could be a sarcoma as an x ray showed there are abnormalities and was unclear and i'm being sent to a bone cancer specialist. is there a good chance it will be benign?

Forehead lump: If this bony growth has not been present for many years in an unchanged state it is important to definitively determine its nature and have it evaluated by the proper specialist. It may require a biopsy to obtain an accurate tissue diagnosis and if it's a malignant growth early diagnosis and treatment is a plus.

Evaluation: Keep appointment with oncology to have Pet Ct and possible biopsy/resection of mass for diagnosis so be treated.
