ED and BP: Erectile dysfunction (ED) is common and can be associated with high blood pressure, and the medicines used to treat BP. The adjustment of meds to optimize control of hypertension takes time; often several different doses or combos need to be tried. It is important to get the BP right to minimize the risk of stroke, kidney damage, etc. There are ways to manage ED, including with PDE5 drugs.
