Refill: If you need a refill for a prescription and refills were added to the initial prescription you can simply return to the same pharmacy you obtained the medication from. If the prescription did not have refills, you can call your physician's office and see if she will authorize a refill, or if she needs to see you again to do so.

Ask your doctor: Most prescriptions require a visit to your doctor. If you want to save some money ask your doctor for Refills on your prescription. If it is not a controlled substance, most doctors would be nice to you and would call in a prescription by calling the pharmacy. Do find out and leave the phone number for the pharmacy where you purchased your medication first time.
