I had my abortion 3/2/17 and it's 3/6/17, so 4 days. i hate wearing pads they're so uncomfortable and i would rather use a tampon. is it safe to use o?

Not recommended: It may take 2 weeks or longer for the cervix to heal after a surgical abortion, and insertion of tampons as well as sexual intercourse are thought to increase risk of infection in the uterus. Although pads may be uncomfortable, why take the risk? A uterine infection can be life threatening and can increase risk of infertility.
